Towering trees looming through a coastal fog. Frothy surf crashing upon jagged shores. Majestic headlands offering clear views for miles. Located two miles (3.22 km) south of Yachats, this coastal wonderland - where the forest meets the sea - captivates locals and visitors alike.
Cummins Creek Trail
Riding along this path is an easy to moderate difficulty level. It is 9.2 miles of nature, ocean, steep descents, and fast cruising on a double-track trail. The more difficult portion of the trail is a foot climb up a single lane of asphalt.
Kentucky Falls
From Highway 126, turn south onto Whittaker Creek Road. Follow signs to the trail head. Major junctions en route to the trailhead are signed. 80-90 foot (24-27 m) twin waterfalls spilling over a cliff surrounded by Douglas Firs and Western Hemlock.
Munsel Creek Bike Path
Quincy to West Park Drive; Florence, OR 97039

This popular path starts on Quince and wanders through lovely natural forest vegetation to Spruce Street, then along Munsel Creek to West Park Drive. The path is paved and enjoyed by cyclers, joggers, and strollers.

At Siuslaw bridge in Mapleton, leave Highway 126 and go south on Sweet Creek Road. A beautiful 11-mile (18-km) drive will take you to the first trailhead. Eleven waterfalls in all. Parking lots are available at each trailhead.

Day Use Fee Area/Northwest Forest Pass. Scenic views and easy accessibility make this trail a special place. You can explore 11 waterfalls ranging from 5-90 feet (2-27 m) in height. Short hikes take you past two of the largest waterfalls, framed by moss and ferns.
